When I found this picture, I was looking more at the expressions on their faces. I had had a bad day and it fit the compassion I was receiving from my best friend. I didn't want this to be sexual. The pose caught my attention while I was scrolling, but I needed to figure out why I was having trouble with the skin tones. That's when I get help from a photographer, and it worked. I added a shirt and over the painting, a dream like mask(the only digital) part. Once I did that, to me, the effect became, "A comfortable place to fall with love and trust."
I hope you don't mind my painting your DD (congrats on that). As it says, couples are hard to find.
He looks like he adores you and you're very happy with that, just being together as it says.
His skin has been toned to have it look more even.
I gave him a shirt, under his shirt and kept the top half for the emotion I was going after. I concentrated on a twilight look for your faces, serene and content. She has a bit of bling, but I wanted them to look like they were drifting off in a heavenly dream, you're all I need emotion.
The piece is done in pastel, oil, chalk, pencil,pastels and shined with Vaseline. Framed in Kvad Pro. In all this took about 20 hrs. I faved it before I saw the DD and pray it's ok with you.
