Another shot at the zoo.I've always loved giraffes...
There were people in the background, so I had to get rid of them. That way this shot looks more natural, and it looks like it could have been taken in the wild.

This photo isn't anything special. It's an ordinary giraffe's picture, nothing more.

Do yourself a favour and make point of it to come and see these magnificent creatures in the wild. They are some of the most gentle animals you'll find. They are a delight to watch. And those eyes just bore right into you (not to mention those fabulous eyelashes).
I was fortunate enough to visit the Kruger Wildlife Park (in South Africa) with friends last year and we saw a number of giraffes (I stopped counting after 20). But what really pleased me was that I got the see the BIG 5! Lions, buffalo, white rhino, elephant and a leapord and her cub!
