The beardless, red with black stripes dragon on top is the female of this particular species.
The bearded, black with red stripes dragon on the bottom is the male of this particular species.

The females choose their mates and they are monogamous for as long as both are alive. Also, the females are notably much more aggressive, yet smaller than the males. This medium sized species is capable of mid-distance flight and are fiercely territorial, but they not have the ability to breathe fire or control any other element. They are intelligent, cunning and have an excellent memory. They mainly feed on large mammals and nest in warm, sub-tropical climates far away from human civilization.
