This genin team from Sunagakure formed under the leadership of kunoichi Matoi. However, in the event that Matoi is not there to lead the team, Saeko becomes the de facto leader. The team is comprised of Saeko, Hayase and Issa.
These three participated in the Chūnin Exams held in Konohagakure. The team passes both the first and second exams, during which they have an aggressive encounter with a team from Iwagakure. During the third exam, Saeko faces off against Sakei Shiemi of Konohagakure, Hayase faces Yagira Fusae of Kirigakure, and Issa faces Kaguroshi Ryūsei of Konohagakure.
