Opinionated stamp is opinionated.Well, the humanoid characters are.
-Their necks.
-The noodly arms.
-Their mouths aren't even a centimeter from their eyes.
Don't even get me started on what happens when people try to replicate it....
Even if it weren't for the style the show itself is shit.
ANIMU ISN'T MUCH BETTER: Look. I don't care if you don't think that anime is art, or that it's ugly. I've learned not to give a fuck. It's your right to have an opinion, it's my right to have mine. Saying that anime is ugly too won't offend me much, but you can always try.

I'll tell you, one of the things that killed my interest in this show was the art style.Β The characters and backgrounds are drawn so poorly made and hideous that they cause a feeling of discomfort.Β I still can not understand how there are so many people that think characters like Marceline and Bumblegum are sexy.

And people wonder why most other American based cartoons today get such negative criticism from me. It's because they get their inspiration from this.

Fans of these cartoons are the worst. They use stupid arguments like: "it's for kids, you can not hate for you being grown up and not belonging to this generation",Β and ironically more than half of these fans are over 13 or even 18,Β and the worst thing is that I was only 15 and they already called me nostalgiatard for disliking it.

I know this is old but I think I should at least leave a comment here. I love Anime style but I also love AT style. I think the "lazy" style really suits it's fast pace humor and style of the show. At first I was no fan of the style and the show but it really grew on me. I love how the female's are always changing outfits in the show, the characters back story the jokes. Β

I'm glad someone else shares my opinion. Personally, I think the art style looks like a 9 year old boy drew the characters in art class for about 10 minutes, then said, "I think that's good enough". Now I'm sure fans are gonna be like, "WELL THATS THE POINT DUMBASS ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO LOOK GOOD ITS MADE FOR TEENAGERS! TEENAGERS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT QUALIFIES AS APPEALING ART DESIGN!" I'm a teenager and I know what appealing art design is.
