And yes, it's about YOUR comfort. You don't want people to watch you if they support causes you don't.
Because you disagree and that makes you uncomfortable.

Hey, guess what? Did you know that there's a feature to BLOCK other deviants?
Instead of trying to force people (who are often interested in your art) to find a link hidden on your page and read through all of it, HOW ABOUT
instead, if you discover someone that makes you unbearably uncomfortable, you block them?
Because it is YOUR responsibility to keep yourself comfortable.
If someone else follows your "rules", they are being NICE; it is NOT an obligation.

It's not spam.
Spam is advertisements and linking to other sites.
All you're doing is annoying the mods who have to manually look at it and un-flag it.

Or post a half dozen new comments on your profile to bump it down.
But STOP marking things that aren't spam as spam.

YES, I sound salty here. Know why?
Because I spent the first 24 years of my life being forced to keep OTHER people comfortable at the expense of my own happiness.
Because I've spent two years now in therapy learning that self-care is important and that *I* come first.
Because I still forget that, and it's hard to recover.
And now it's this huge "trend" to tell other people to do some petty shit because YOU don't feel like it.
And it's NOT OKAY.

This is different from "please follow the rules of this group/contest".
This is different from basic niceties with social interaction.
The internet is for EVERYONE.
Safe spaces are important, but so is learning how to cope.
And the only people who will obey your "rules" are the ones who would have already gotten along with you.
People are going to follow your art if they like it, whether you want them to or not.
The ONLY way to have control over that is to take into your OWN hands.
Block people that make you uncomfortable.
