I got the Magritte reference, though I think it's clever to use photography for this, seeing how we as viewers can only interpret what we see in the frame and apply our own narratives to it (and often do) when what may have been actually happening has nothing to do with what our narratives may imply. (ie: for all we know, the fellow laying down has only just tripped or fallen, and has yet to get up and sut himself off).
