Mass Effect rules!Plus, this is my first art meme! I always wanted to do one and Mass Effect gave me the inspiration - but it still took about three times longer than I thought it would!

Edit: Updated my Shepard's details, after recreating and replaying her in almost exactly the same form on my new Xbox 360, and tweaked her face a teensy bit.

Wow, the first female meme that doesn't bash Liara. Yay! She's my favorite. I tried to go for Ashley for a bit but she really started to get on my nerves.

Heh, well I kind of love everyone!
I can see why people would find Liara annoying and I think there's definite room for improvement in her dialogue - but I don't dislike the character. I don't think of her as a young and innocent but hot blue babe, though. I prefer seeing her as a socially awkward 106-year-old alien.
Ashley...has a mind of her own, bless her. She's interesting, at any rate!

Yeah, she has her interesting qualities. But when she basically started showing xenophobia and started badmouthing Liara, then I started to hate her. I still don't know why I saved her. Might not happen next time through. Muahahaha.

that last panel makes me wonder...how come you never see female Turians or Salarians in the first game? or Krogans either! maybe they look the same as the males...XD

Well, the Krogan females have their own clans (to prevent the males fighting to the death over them) and with the Genophage, they're too precious to be allowed off Tuchanka.
The Salarians are 90% male. Their females are the political leaders and stay on their home worlds. Breeding = politics for salrians.

Well, as you say, there is a certain resemblance in the looks of all Shepards of each sex, because the face generator thingie only has so many options. Do you have a picture of your Shepard somewhere?

I did use screenshots (or in a couple of cases pictures from the internet) as a reference. Couldn't do it without them!

I'd love to see a female Turian in the party. The developers said female Turians are basically housewives. I wanna see one run off to escape a future of nothing more than baking whatever the equivalent of Turian apple pie is while barefoot in the kitchen.
