Ok. So then, let's start this.
This is very well done. It kinda reminds me of Star Wars or some other sci-fi type of thing where someone stands and watches something in space that has mesmerizing beauty.
I haven't seen much in this sort of style or representation in a while. I enjoy these types of things because it's just... I get lost like that person watching is me.
I know I just complimented the style, but on to the more detailed "technique": The star itself is probably the thing I looked at first, as with most likely everyone else. I'm not sure what kind of star, color wavelength wise, this is supposed to be, but I assume it's blue. You added the effects of light aura and other things coming off of it, and the way it's colored is absolutely stunning. The man is also very nicely created as he stands there, and the interface things on the left and the right giving us the vision that he's in some sort of ship or chamber or something of the sorts. And then the ground is *almost* see through, giving it, once again, that sort of sci-fi "guy watching you from afar" sort of mood.
I'm a really big fan of two things in art: anime and space. This brought that feeling of space. The background, the star and the little interface you added are really some things that I enjoy looking at because I can visualize myself there to the extent of adding on to this world that you have created, and I'm absolutely positive you can to (it being your own work).
So I'd just like to say, I love this piece and if I could, I would copy this style and make my own. Unfortunately, I'm not talented in that area, nor do I know how to do this sort of style so I'll leave that up to the professionals/amateur-professionals. With my last word, I say: Thank you good sir, for the inspiration and the beauty.

Stunning work.
Sadly I cant use it in this state as I want, I need to create something similar, but by my own.
Would you let me know how you did the mirror effect on the floor?
I want to create a similar picture, but with a different spacescape, and a different person.

I love how the dying star actually looks like a star in this. I don't understand why the one in Mass Effect looked more like a greased up ball than a star.
