And I'm back!

It has certainly been a while and I should take care of this DeviantArt profile better. Anywho...

I've wanted to do this piece for a while. I actually sketched this out a bit ago, and I'm glad I didn't finish it then because I feel that it looks A LOT better now than it would then.

I based this on the Broadway stage show of "The Little Mermaid". Ask any of my friends and they will tell you how obsessed I am with the movie/musical. The ending of the musical is a little different. When Ariel turns human, her sisters swirl around her and reveal her changed from mermaid to human. I thought that the ending was just so touching, showing how supportive they were. It also looks really magical onstage.

This was sketched first in Photoshop, then colored in Illustrator. I tried to keep the coloring soft, although it was all vector. Please let me know what you think!
