I really feel sorry for him, because he was one of my most loved characters of season 1.And it makes it even more worse, seeing that Knock Out has no problems, dissect the body of his former partner

I don't think he cares anymore. His best friend was murdered then used by some sick twisted freak.
He doesn't see it as Breakdown anymore, and because Breakdown would be glad to know that Knockout got payback.
Or maybe it's just as simple as the fact that something snapped inside him after Breakdown was killed and his mind isn't exactly all that it once was.

Um, well considering that Breakdown was offlined by Arachnid and Dreadwing couldn't find his remained, thus glowing M.E.C.H to use him a life-support for Silas, BD wasn't BD anymore. He was some hodge-podge of human/cybertronian life-support tech. BD was dead and I think Knockout understands that. And that's why he doesn't care

Really, any episode starring Breakdown can just be called "This Guy's Life Sucks". I mean, really, he got experimented on by human terrorists, then killed by Airachnid, then got possessed by aforementioned terrorists, then got experimented on by KO and turned into a Zombie-con, then Airachnid killed him AGAIN. Really, it's like a group of angels got bored and said "Let's screw over this guy in particular for no real reason!".
