I'm Cillou, and I absolutely love this piece of artwork, - let me explain why !Β
First off, - the pose is amazing, and really pulls off the piece rather than standing,
interesting placement of arms also. - The lineart is so smooth, and merges { in a good way }
with the colouring and shading, - very soft and vibrant, - you've made the lineart, or outlines,Β
with Β very good colour choices that matched with the colour scheme of the picture, but not too much
that you couldn't see it, - the lineart / outline colour that is visible really made the piece pop !
Now for the colouring and shading, - as I talked a bit about it above.
The colouring, shading, and blending is extremely beautiful, - a rather uncommon eyesoothing piece of work.
rather than bold, black lines, with flat colouring, or colour-bleeding colour schemes. - Talking about colour schemes,
your choice of colours is absolutely beautiful and soothing ! - It merges so well with the blending, and everything just compliments each-other !Β
Now closing up my comment with these two things that i loved in the piece.
The fishbowl really does add to the piece, even though its not the main character you're focusing on, the fish-creature, and its bowl, really compliments on the character more, especially the touch of the water slightly tipping along with the bowl. - The fish and the main characters really pulled off that cute factor, going along with both of their poses, as you wouldn't get that same 'cute, wow' from the main character being in a normal stand, and the fish not doing anything.Β
Overall, this is a beautiful, stunning piece, - the colours, shading, and visible lineart is all astounding, and you really made this work.
I also looked at your gallery, you're a very talented artist, pulling off vibrant colours, merging them, and making them into a soft, soothing piece isn't easy, - you're an amazing artist, and I hope you have a bright career / future in art !!Β
