I saw them in the Steven Universe Special 'Battle of Heart and Mind' and holy crap, I love them so much. It is not only the first gem to have a Male Actor (Alastair James), and No Steven doesn't count, but possibly my favorite design for any gem fusion in the whole show.

I love the pastel colors used, 2.0 (thats what I'm gonna call him from now on) has a much softer color scheme to him, softer pinks and blues, and I guess thats understandable seeing as he is a fusion of Pearl and Steven, and the two of them have always softer color palettes in comparison to Garnet and Amethyst, though I've always favored Pearls outfits to Stevens. The colors honestly remind me of Cala Maria almost.

Oh! And lets not forget about the voice! Honestly he sounds so young and carefree, and I love his accent, props to Alastair James for that!

Overall, this whole episode was fucking beautiful, I loved the diamonds, Christine Ebersole did a wonderful job as White Diamond, The new Fusions were awesome! OBSIDIAN APPEARED!! And That animation seen when Steven and his Gem reunite is just so goddamn smooth and beautiful, I honestly nearly cried. That was the work of James Baxter, his animation was also seen in Prince of Egypt (Moses) and the Ballroom scene in Beauty and The Beast. Thank you James, Thank you Christine, Thank you Zach Callison, Thank you Rebecca Sugar, Thank you Steven Universe for making this an enjoyable and worthwhile season finale.

Lets just hope the journey doesn't end there.
