Iv'olai is the one without a face, without a voice. He roams the world as he wills, he does not age nor weaken as long as there is wrong and right. His hollow-eyed, but not blind, mask is said to reflect the thoughts of the wise, and the beads shine like the pale and soft moonlight. Iv'olai is the god of right and wrong, and his birds are his envoys and speakers.
Iv'olai is one of the few high spirits or gods who never take otehr form than their real one.
His symbols are masks and horns, and he is often prayed to if one feels a need of protection or forgiveness.

Lulz, maybe the wierdest of all :U One of my friends pointed out that he looks kinda like the Shishigami (forest god) from Princess Mononoke. And I agree! xD
Gosh why doesn't English language have a neutral personal pronoun like Finnish "hän" is, I would've liked to make Iv'olai sort of sexless but I had to end up calling it a "he". XP
...I messed up his legs quite bad, don't look at all the four knees at the same time! xD

One could use the word "it", but that usually isn't considered polite. -_- It would be nice to a sexless pronoun, you're right...
Anyway, lovely, lovely picture. Very mesmerizing story, and I love the coloring job. The anatomy is interesting and original. ^^

Oioi! Tämä on suosikkini kaikista jumalistasi tähän mennessä! Tässä on jonkinlaista Dalimaista surrealismia, samaan aikaan ihmeen rauhoittava ja vähän pelottavakin. Tuo naamio oli erittäin hieno yksityiskohta, jos olisit värittänyt sen vielä puoliksi mustaksi ja puoliksi valkoiseksi, niin se olisi entisestään korostanut sitä mitä tämä jumala edustaa, mutta tämä nyt on vain tälläista pilkunviilausta jälleen kerran

Ooh Iv'olai, he is a gorgeous one! I think that out of all of the gods so far he is my favorite. So refined and sleek, built strangely yet familiarly, with a set of very interesting traits. The birds on his back really do add a lot to him I do admit- they provide just enough black and white to contrast his mask. Perfect! As for the picture itself, I really am loving your skill of making your coloring so filled out. There's not a single speck of white on Iv'olai's body, so evidently you use the promarkers skillfully. Grand work on that; it looks grand!
I think that the knees turned out fine, especially considering how strange-looking they are down where the feet would be. It's hard to see a mistake on something so twisted, if that makes any sense. Haha! I have no critiques from you on this one though you could darken the shadows on the mask to make it look deeper.
