The fox-god of luck and happiness, Repo is one of the most liked Gods. He is believed to appear in a form of a young fox with human hands, often sitting and smiling. Repo, despite his popularity, is rather unreliable. He likes to play with everyone, no matter if the victim of his mischief is a spirit, man or one of his siblings; Repo isn't afraid of them. He was the one who aided the Spirit-prince Alenor on his journeys.
Repo has only few children, and they show themselves rarely and are known to lie about their ancestry. But, if one of them offers you their help voluntarily, you should refuse. If you do, the spirit will afflict you for the rest of your life with it's tricks. If you accept the spirit's help and proposal, it will give you seven wishes.
Second of the series. Don't you love it how creepy the anatomy looks? XD also, Repo's description needs a lot more stuff. His looks were heavily inspired by a painting by Samuli Heinonen, a finnish contemporary artist. I don't know if i should call myself a copycat. Should I change Repo's design? D:

I wouldn't say copycat... Inspired maybe, but where her paintings have much more depth, your art is way more defined.
I see your fox (thing) and see a fox. I see one of hers, and there's so much crammed into one piece that it's almost disorientating.
I appreciate her form of art, but as a preference, I like yours better.

After seeing his paintings in the gallery I thought he's one heck of an artist... for once I saw modern art I actually liked... not becasue there were animal but because it meant something to me.

Aah I definitely wouldn't say that your idea was ripped from Heinonen. If anything I'd say that Repo is more of an homage...
That is an astounding artist, however, I enjoyed going through his (his? her? I'm no good with Finnish names) older art. The style for some reason seems sort of creepy to me!
Hurhem. Being a fox I'd think that he would be a god of something such as wit or intelligence, or maybe even cunning. Who would have guessed luck and happiness? How strange!

Anywhosies, Repo here is a very quaint looking fellow. I agree with you and ~DiggingBadger in that the "realistic cartoony" anatomy looks creepy... although at the same time it's unique and interesting, and gives him a lot of character. I love your details on the fur flow and shading, too, that turned out very nice. Very good work on this one!
If you don't mind me asking, what brand of marker do you use...? "Promarker"?

Yeah... that's somewhat same I thought since I'm not doing professional art and this is never ever gouing to be published anywhere nor I won't make money with this drawing so... :'D
Heinonen's a he. I know Finnish names are quite tricky xD; I love his style it is, as you sid, creepy and kind of dark but I love it.
Promarkers are alcohol-based markers, they have two tips: wide and thin. They're klike cheap copics xD I usually use them to give the base colour and then give the shading/texture of fur/scales/skin/whatever with my colour pencils. Though Promarkers can be used individually, and they look pretty good that way too, but I think that method takes a lot of patince and a good eye to colours!

I like it, the anatomy style and pose/expression work well to represent what he is; I noticed he looked happy and fun immediately

It's supposed to be positive. >.< I just word things funny. I'm saying it's really neat looking to see styles played around with, because most of the time, if something has proportions like that, it's drawn in a cartoon style.
