Description Hmm. When I was painting these things and the opportunity to paint a half naked man arose, I embraced it with both hands

Acrylic and pen on acrylic card.

*Edit* I had a Homer moment and forgot to put it on eBay. It's sorted now:

Just went to bid on this but it's not on eBay - will it be?

I don't know how you're using acrylic so finely on such a tiny support - wonderful work!

Whoops! I'll correct that now. Didn't realize I hadn't put it on...Thank you for that.

This ACEO thing is a whole new world for me - I absolutely love working small scale. It would be great if I could find some kind of magnifying lamp wotsit, so I can get right into it. Have to look into that

Thanx - you have my bid!

I don't think you need the magnifying lamp wotsit - you're a natural.

Thank you so much I hope you win it

I think the magnifying lamp wotsit would be one of those things I would be excited about buying, and then not using Terrible for doing that!

Awww, thanx!

LOL Me too! But it's still fun buying them, isn't it?!

I bought one a mountboard cutter many years ago during my stint as a student. I think I've used it once and yet I hang onto it, because one day it might come in handy

I also have one of those black scratchboard things lurking around - also never touched! It's terrible, I can't trust myself to walk into an art shop without seeing something new and completely inappropriate to buy.

There's an art shop which is Liverpool which I sometimes wander into. They're really friendly and always have a smile on their face when they serve me, no doubt it's because I'm 'that woman that buys lots of random and innapropriate art materials' from them. I'm a complete sucker for sale tickets as well. 'Ooo, half price! Must buy!!'

I'll probably spend today drooling over artsy materials on eBay

LOL Oh, you're really lucky! I only have a tiny art shop in the next town, and it's not so tempting anymore because of already bought one of practically everything they sell. The internet is my temptation - and I love packages arriving in the post too!

I'm currently trying to resist ordering some stuff to start some resin jewellery making, and some metalwork! Loads of money and I don't even know if I'll use it, or like it if I do! lol

I love receiving packages! I suppose it's because of all the mail that comes through that contains stuff like bills and the obligatory junk mail, knowing you're getting something you actually want through the post elevates your excitement on hearing the rattling of the letterbox to new heights

I'm always on the lookout for something new and creative to do. My most recent 'should I?' is wanting to get messy doing clay figures

oooooo nice i love 300...and i love gerard butler...and even the comic version is pretty hot XD
by far my most favorite comic and movie of a comic of all time
(well...besides the watchmen..but that's almost a novel-just with lots of pictures-and they havent made a movie for it...yet...but i've heard rumors...and honestly, i'm scared. there's a lot of opportunities to mess up on that one)

Eeeek, I absolutely love the Watchmen. I've heard rumours and seen pictures of potential actors for the characters. I agree they could mess up big time on that. Will they leave in the story within the story? I don't think they will.

Also they'd better not ruin Rorschach, he's an amazingly complex character.

Just had a look at the official website of it. There's some pics further down the page:

Thank you soooo much for reminding me. I was intending to watch The Man Who Laughs after you mentioned it and as is the way with me, I completely forgot. I've just dedicated the evening to watching it on YouTube. It is a remarkable film. Absolutely wonderful how Conrad Veidt expresses so much emotion even with that perma smile on his face. Hooked from start to finish, so thank you again for reminding me

Also, is it just me, or does the actress who plays Duchess Josiana have more than a passing resemblance to Madonna?!
