Quint was great I just have always loved Hooper. His laugh always got me. I am glad I saw the movie before reading the book or I may have ended up hating Hooper actually.

LOVE this movie! Probably watched it 8 times this summer haha nice job! I think the only thing I'd say would be to make the shark and the water a bit darker, a bit more ominous, but other than that this is amaaaazing!

I have it on DVD and watch it every so often. It's a great character piece, I think. The three male leads are perfect.
Funnily enough, the water is darker but it scanned lighter (something about the shade of blue that my scanner can't cope with) and I couldn't fix it in PS without changing the rest of the colours

ooh lucky--I have to watch mine on netflix. Couldn't agree more, it's definitely a film where story and character driven plot actually come together for once. I do think it's a bit too long, but I love sharks so I didn't mind! haha
And aaaah I see! My scanner does the same thing: I'll get something looking really good, scan it in, and it just turns out sucky haha

Copic style markers are expensive, but indeed very much worth the price. You can produce colored art SO much faster. However, there is something to be said about acrylics... I think it helps make your ACEOs really stand out.

This is the reason I'd love to have a go at them. Acrylic would still be my number one though. Really, what I want to do is use the copics for the base colours and then enhance with acrylic and see how that goes.

I've done that before actually - both with acrylics and gouache. It's a very nice method to quickly produce art that still has a painterly look.

awww :/ yeah alot of the simple sharpie markers that i buy are really expensive and i just forget i buy them then when i buy more i find where i hav put the others so its just a build up of lost and found stuff in draws and boxes in my bedroom haha XD and no problem your art is fantastic

^^' lmao yeah it happens alot with me and things just never get used then have to be thrown away coz they go clumpy or dry out or whatever :/ and lmao a friend of mine said she would get me some socks for my birthday because the other day i had some very holy socks on and am in need of new ones but can never find any nice ones xD
