Yep, the one and only Juniata Shops! Conrail, now Norfolk Southern has a massive diesel rebuild facility there. They do work on not just NS locomotives, but any railroad that needs a rebuild. It's pretty cool, you can go to the backshops where they have a turntable and see all sorts of power there.

Yes sir! Thourghbread Locomotive Shops. It's a company within Norfolk Southern. All of the NJ Transit 4200 series engines where rebuilt there. I commonly see photos of engines from all over the nation headed there.

Not to sure. I just know that these where rebuilt from good old fashioned GP40's that where gathered up from all over (the GP40PH-2B series is mostly ex-Conrail, PC, NYC). They all went to Conrail's Juniata Shops in Altoona, PA for rebuild.
