At first sight those trees on the left are kind of distracting, but second sight they do a nice job of framing that left edge. MY eye is drawn all the way to that light in...the...distance...

*Gets hit by the oncoming train*

The exposure is nice, the glowing on the horizon and the lights in the distance really emphasise the apparent isolation of this place.

That was the one ting I was really afraid of. I work for the railroad so I know the passenger schedules, but the freight is run by another company. Needless to say my buddy was on the look out and I was ready to tuck and roll!

The dedicated photographer will do some pretty risky stuff for the shot.

so jealous you get to go places liek these..... i love the whole center focus of all this also how th elighting is errie but warm enough to make it feel "safe"

Funny thing is the name of the railroad originally run this railway was the Erie Railroad.
