Well, I can honestly say I never expected to get more, new photos of this costume! But, in honor of WCS Preliminaries for the USA being held at KatsuCon this year, Rynn and I brought our own preliminary costumes for one last HURRAH. Now, after getting some more, beautiful photos, I can honestly say, I'm glad we wore these once more, and they can now, officially, be retired.as Miaka Yuuki

Sure! This Gazebo is located at the Gaylord National hotel in National Harbor, Maryland. it's the location for KatsuCon each year, in mid-february.

I love everything about this! I'm glad I got to see these in person (Even at a distance) before they are retired. I'm still impressed with how clean they were constructed!

Great use of the local atmosphere at Katsucon! I've seen a lot of photos from that location you're in there, but while pretty, not everyone actually *utilizes* it for their photos. Honestly I'm getting kind of tired of it as a random unused background and often find it distracting, but not here! Great sendoff for these gorgeous costumes <3

Oh wow, so gorgeous! I love both of your Miaka and Yui cosplays so much. To be honest, I'm a little sad to hear you'll be retiring them.

Aw, thank you so much. <3 It's sad to be retiring them, but the truth is, we've worn these costumes for many many MANY hours, and the delicate fabrics have really take a beating. Also, the wire in my arm and leg pieces, after being unbent and re-bent so many times, no longer retains it's shape and becomes a hassle to constantly adjust. they've gotten a lot of wear, and now we're ready to move onto other, new projects. <3
I'd like to see your Nuriko when it's done!
