introducing, Yuki, the Ice Pony.

now you may be wondering why SpitFire sank and Yuki is clearly bigger than him.

because he's an Ice Pony he has splayed hooves that help distribute his weight over the top of the snow, which is why, in icier areas, these ponies are used as mounts or to pull sleds.

he's also reeeeaaaally fluffy.

they're usually grey, but they can also often be white.

they always have horns (the females are slightly smaller) and Yuki's was broken in a fight with another wild male.

Yuki himself is not a true wild Ice Pony. he is a feral, which means he was in captivity at one point in his life but he escaped. that's why he is wearing a small rope halter.

Yuki means "falling snow," i believe, in Japanese.
