This was another one of those pages I kept working on and off of for about a week but I finally just pushed through and got it done. It's after midnight and I have to go to work tomorrow but I did it anyways! XD
Clement man...He's such a good dad. ;3;
This is obviously a work of fiction but it still warms my heart to make scenes like this~ 
...
Only to eventually wander back into the dark side of things. Hooray!
We'll be touching on Clement's past in a little bit and I think you guys will like it~ I hope so at least lol

catching up to Black Rose and the first page is a heartwarming daddy scene~ I really needed this
a bit of cuteness after all the evil things that happened to Nic before...
their dialogue is so relatable... and I truly enjoy this moment of peace between Nic and Clement
when she started crying I felt sad...

Holy hell, either Clement is actually a very loving father
Or he's Satan in disguise making sure that no mortal man or woman knows that he is real or among them.
Maybe that's the reason for Dark Nic'!

He really is a loving father who sometimes takes on a Satan like persona because he's a smug piece of shit.
I mean, that is part of the reason Adelais fell in love with him. And she's an angry corpse so it works out perfectly! Somehow...Lol
But who's the most evil? Dark Nic did punch a hold through Nicolette after all...

Hmmmm... Estelle for raising Adelais the way she is? I dunno anymore by this point, there are many Morally Grey Characters in your comic. All of them seem pretty evil!

Also can I have Nic's dad please? Clement is just so awesome and it's so great to see him being so supportive now. And I really like that Nic apparently chooses him to be the first one she tells her problem. It's just heartwarming and also some more developed character relation.

He is pretty cool because he really, really does care about his family no matter how little he may care for other people and how much of an ass he can be at times...Lol
I think so too! But she probably would have told her mom too if Clement wasn't there. But she's still gotta pick her words carefully and that's what she's got to think about.

We all need a Clement! We should try to clone him. XD
And that's the awesome thing about him. That he cares so much about his family. Him noticing that his daughter has troubles and offering himself as a trusting person to her is just so sweat. <3 Well, a lot of people can be idiots sometimes. That's just normal. And considering Clement's position it isn't that surprising that he can be creepy and threatening sometimes.
Interesting alternative. But whoever she decides to talk to, it's gonna be interesting either way.

He really does~ Especially after what happened on the day Nicolette and Desiree were born and seeing how upset his wife was, he really goes out of his way for all of them even if he has to put his own stuff aside. He really is a good catch~ Lol
Yeah but it makes it really hard for him to make close friends...And he's not doing it cause it's evil, he's just gotta do what's best for his family. Maybe he enjoys the power trip a little too much at times though...XDD

I agree, her father is very kind and supportive, and this scene is so emotional and touching! You did a great job on this page! The layout is very effective as well! Close-up of Nicky's eye looks good and you draw the tears in a very realistic way! It is nice that her father is there for Nicky in such a difficult moment to wipe her tears 0 : - )
It is strange coincidence that the page of my comic, which will be posted on Monday, also has the panel on which Gaia wipes a tear... I hope it will not look like I stole the idea : - ))
