The next arc (Arc 3) of Beat, Prey, Love will shift focus to Simone, her teammates, and her friends, so let's start with new art and a new introduction.

Simone Freeman wants to be a modern day monk. Left to her own devices she would wander from gym to gym, dojo to dojo, training, sparring, learning. Establishing rivals on different continents and doing her best impression of a shounen protagonist who lives to fight but still manages to be friends with everyone.

But learning doesn't pay the bills and no one cares about some starry eyed 19 year old with more ambitions than experience. By necessity, Simone Freeman is a college student and an aspiring MMA fighter. A KO and submission artist with an eye for adaptation and adjustments and equally poor situational awareness. Oh and she wears contacts because she doesn't like the way she looks in glasses. She blames her dad for her poor eyesight, but it's more an issue in the classroom than it is in the ring.

The daughter of a famous, retired, boxer and gym owner, she grew up around martial arts her whole life and has insight and prediction skills beyond her years. That might be the recipe for a vicious fighter if Simone wasn't so much more interested in looking and being cool every time she slides on her gloves. While her mother might preach efficiency, Simone has a love for flourishes and analyzing her opponents.

Her mother calls her 'Slick,' her gymmates call her 'Sleepy,' and she calls herself 'Savant' in spite of the obvious "Idiot Savant' insult. She simply wants to know how to do all the cool shit ever and throw punches with the world's best. She's creative, dynamic, and dangerous, with true one punch KO power and slick submissions. Unfortunately she's got no taste or patience for the grinding, clash of wills presented by clinching or wrestling, preferring the dynamism or striking and submissions. Simone hopes to never ever win by decision.

A professional MMA career feels inevitable at this point, but you can bet that 'Savant' will branch out into anything that lets her outsmart someone while wearing gloves . She's inquisitive, flirty, and a little hood, and all of that terrifies the mother who intends on carefully crafting and steering her daughter's nascent professional career.
