Seaweed J. Stubbs from the movie Hairspray! Played by the delicious actor Elijah Kelley, he was my favorite character!! He's Penny's "Black white-knight" in shining armor! XD lawl

I was going to draw him in an other outfit but I had this one as the best reference, plus it really is a nice shirt that looked spiffy on him. For all the dolls, I'm going to try and match their outfits to the same scene :3

Took me...pff maybe not even an hour to make this, I'm just using simple shading since I want it to be simple 'n' cute.

His hair was terrifying for me! I'm bad at male hair anyway, especially "flat" hair, you know like crew cuts, or just really short hair that isn't wild and crazy. Plus, he has waves - *legasp* I hope they came out OK, it was my first try and I am very happy with them.

I know the dollie isn't as deliciously dark-skinned as Elija but it's the best I could do without making it too dark and loosing the soft shading and details.
