* She looks up to Asgore, & eventually has fallen for him in secret - One of the reasons she joined the Royal Guard

* Because of their divorce, Marie sometimes tries to earn Asgore's affections, but he still adores Toriel regardless

* Before Rosie was old enough to talk, Jackie & Asriel promised each other & pinkie swore to become best brothers forever if Marie & Asgore get married

* Toriel is oblivious to Marie trying to get at her husband

* Nothing is known about Marie's previous husband & Jack's father

* Despite all the stress & pleasure as a warrior, she still holds dear her son & daughter above all else

* It is absolutely unknown if she knew her son's destined fate to bear a grey soul

* Wields a battle axe

* Is part of the Royal Guard, Undyne being her official

* They too are best friends - But unlike Undyne, Marie has subtle compassion towards the humans

* Likewise, instead of doubting Papyrus' abilities & strong ego, Marie thoroughly believes in him & always puts faith into him

* In the adventure, she has fallen from her sweet demeanour & became thoroughly depressed - Due to Jack's death, but she didn't know it was a suicide

* She continues to live & follow orders, & still holds Rose dear to her heart no matter what

* If she had found out Chara-Maria ( ) was her son's 'killer', only then she would be battled

* If she is killed, she will gladly accept it - Crying out in pure joy to reunite with her son once again

* If she is spared, Marie will request Chara to take her to her son - Feeling his presence, so that she could ease his endless despair & rage

Broken Heart, Broken Family

* In the AU, the cold rejection from Asgore not only broke her heart, but her pride

* He fired her, & has fallen into a depressed state so deep she couldn't unbare the misery

* She started going out, drinking, & eventually became an alcoholic

* When Jack & Rose showed their concerns constantly, their mother angrily abused them

* Rosie eventually dies, causing Jackie to immediately attack Marie - His soul awakened early

* Marie dies, but quietly accepts her fate after what she had done
