It has been too long since I last uploaded something here. I guess you could consider this my Christmas gift for you all, an edit based on a particular piece of concept art for Justice League. You know the one.
Update January 29, 2021: Having come back to this piece after a good long while, I've replaced the logo with the new one (www.deviantart.com/sunny-zee/a… ), and the makeshift Palutena halo for the proper one I uploaded last year(www.deviantart.com/sunny-zee/a… ). Update January 30, 2021: (Sigh) Apparently, transferring a project from from Photoshop to G.I.M.P. renders any layer effects like gradient glows moot. Ain't that just grand? So I had to manually redo regular Volfogg's hologram effect and the glow surrounding Green Lantern!Mikoto Utsugi by hand. Here's hoping it's worth the adjustment.
Update August 12, 2021: Back again, I've tried out a free, browser-based, Photoshop clone called "Photopea," which allows me to make an updated version that's more like V1 in terms of quality. As for the big changes, I've overlayed a close-up of the official DCEU!Darkseid over the Smallville version, and replaced the Garage Kit versions of KouRyu and AnRyu with the Super Mini-Pla version of their combined form TenRyuJin. As with my last update, I've uploaded V2 onto my Sta.sh here: sta.sh/0c91nbbg8qr
I guess you can consider this the proper cover image for Justice League: SPIRITS now... at least, the best one I can come up with.
