Description
Any jitters before the other arabians' classes were put to shame by the jitters the staff got from preclass anxiety with Blood. She tends to be violent. However, she had wondeful conformation and gorgeous colors- we couldn't stand for having those traits never seen. Matt looked like a ghost while he was waiting to go out into the ring. The poor guy still wasn't used to showing Blood, he was one million times more comfortable galloping at full speed on the fastest horses in the world- but showing arabians in a halter class, that was terrifying! Well, we could cut him some slack, Blood was a bit upredictable. It was hard to keep her in control at all times, making sure that she doesn't attack any horse who slightly annoys her.

Then it was time for them to go out into the ring. Matt shot the crew a look as he started walking Blood out, and everyone smiled and crossed their fingers for him from the stands. Blood was good, at first. She was curious enough to keep her in control for awhile, sniffing the arena and checking out the spectators.

But, that didn't last long- the judge started announcing all the names, and when they called her's and crowd clapped, she freaked out a bit. Matt jumped back, surprised, when she reared up, her eyes wide and her nostrils flaring. Thankfully, she recovered quickly, going to nibbling nicely on Matt's hand while standing in the show pose while the judge looked her over. Hopefully the 'grand entrance' she made wouldn't be remembered too much when he chose tge winners.
