i read 3001, it was such a good read. one of the better scp's in my opinion. i think your intepretation is quite perfect. the black environment with only the red light and robert (was robert his name???) is perfect because its literally everything inside 3001, with the addition of drawing his disintegrating state.

of course it may also be easy to illustrate this scp since its literaly everything in that entire dimension: no light, only reds light, disintegrating robert, and nothing else. also like the way that he raise his hand to red, because its the only thing besides himself, so of course he will be attracted to it.
