Kit
Mantakit had a fairly normal kithood. Whenever he could sneak out of the nursery to explore with his siblings he did, but if she asked them to come back he'd obey. He was small but had big attitude if his siblings were being picked on. He noticed pretty early on that toms were treated much different from she-cats, not getting to go on patrols or leave when they wanted like the females did. He even witnessed a she-cat claiming a tom to be her mate even though he didn't want to. None of this seemed fair to Mantakit, so he worries if he'll even learn anything as an apprentice...
Apprentice
Mantapaw hasn't been an apprentice long, but it didn't take long to realize that no apprentice had a tom mentor. The male apprentices seemed to be treated differently too. Unlike the female apprentices who would be told things like, "You'll be an amazing warrior someday!" The boys got no such encouragement. Just, "at least you'll be useful." on a good day. Mantapaw has been trying extra hard to try to prove his worth.
