How did you make that skin texture?

I dab the sculpt with a Q-tip or tiny brush after softening the surface with turpentine (or 90% rubbing alcohol)
kind of like stamp patterning

great work, although John's nose should be a little bigger. I presume you are using ZBrush?

yeah I had some one tell me his nose should be a little more hooked and less "heroic" which is a valid point.

Actually it was sculpted in Super Sculpey Gray firm in 1:6 scale.

I wish I knew Z-brush though...
