Love knows no boundaries.
Instead of using our OC's I tried to create us as ponies, me being the blue one. I've taken many things into account, posture, age difference, length, hair colour, talents and interests for out cutiemarks and so on. I'm really happy with the lines and I am very proud of the similarity between us in real person and the ponies.
I made some mistakes in the layers, so I went for this minimally shaded theme like I used to do. I wanted to finish this on time so that's why I didn't bother with complicated shading. I am way too perfectionistic and digital drawings always take increadibly long for me to make. But not with this one. I found a nice compromise I think. It's all about the message. Although we live far apart, our love is strong.

I'm glad you respect our love. Though I don't understand why you would be homophobic. I can understand you feel uncomfortable around gay people. But a phobia means that anxiety is so apparent that it influences daily life... Now does it for you?

Well to be specific, as far as respecting your love, I myself don't like seeing, thinking or even knowing about it. Just because I'm afraid of it, doesn't mean I don't know of it. My friends tend to make jokes of it, but when I hear about it, I either leave or think about something else so I don't hear it. I suppose I did develop a certain anxiety over it.

That means something must have gone wrong at some point, making you feel anxious. Either way, I won't bother you further. Hearing you rather not even see it, it means someting that you dared to comment. (or maybe you wanted my art out of your messages, but put so that yoy wouldn't offend me).

Not exactly. Its not religion reasons or anything of the sort, but something just feels off when I hear or see it. It just makes me uneasy. I respect people with individuality, since I'm an outcast myself, but even if I did wanted the pic out of my messages, I would've just clicked the pretty little "X" on the top right of the pic. I did feel a little "uncomfortable" looking at the pic, but I know better than to just say awful things, so I guess I was trying to be nice and not your feelings or pride or whatever too. So plainly, I don't really get what I'm trying to say too...but let's just leave it at that. I wouldn't want Hearts and Hooves be the day I soiled someone's day or something. You have a great day too.
