Wow! Such a passionate poem! But sad as well.
My condolences if it was meant for a departed loved one.

Thank you so much : Yes I´m afraid it is. I have been writing my grief out of my soul since my husband died almost 6 years ago.The majority of my writing is of this nature and has helped me to cope with over whelming feelings of sadness.

I'm really sorry for your loss. It's never easy and I can't say I understand such close loss. But I am certain that he's always there spiritually watching over you.

This reminds me of the song Leaving on a Jet Plane {John Denver]
Sad but beautifully said, this is a wonderful poem Suzanne.

Beautiful poem, I can relate to this one. I lost a loved one this year too. I love the analogy to planes.

Oh geez, so the plane analogy wasn't just an analogy. But in a way that makes the poem even more beautiful and sad.
Stay strong, the pain is overwhelming but he'll always be waiting for you when you take your plane trip back to his side
