Warming up today, I decided to draw my boy 's character, Oren 'Rooster' Redmond, from his hit book from Image Comics, 'Heart.' Kevin's a great dude (and a great sport for putting up with Nick Pitarra & I), and I've been a fan of his style for a long time. His book is fantastic, even for an MMA noob such as myself--I highly recommend it!Hope I got the tattoos right!

Yeah! Just came out this past October or November, I believe. It's written by Blair Butler, who covers comics for G4, the big gaming channel over here. It's her first book, and quite well written.
haha--I actually had to go find his original pages for ref on that tattoo--I couldn't tell what it was in my copy!

I've just been checking it out online, no local stockists for me, but i'm gonn have to order something to take a look at it. The artist is great from what I see on the covers, love the style and colour work.
And the Rooster... ah, you know how the little details make an image, just brings it to life mate
