Description just got this colored version of my squall pic [link] this past weekend from the extremely talented matt martin my jaw just dropped when i opened the file. matt had told me he wasn't all that familiar with squall, so i had sent him some reference pics. from what i see--he totally captured the essence of the character and added a great mood to the piece.

Ahh! I figured... the holidays just help to back everything up all the more... You would think the time off would help, but it rarely does... I am pretty excited to see what the Battlestar piece will look like when it's done though! I'm tempted to ask what characters you're drawing, but I think I just want to see the finished product!! lol

I think the lines are good, it looks a lot like comic style, nice inking

and i appreciate the compliment on the inks. my style's based pretty much in western-style comic art, so i wanted to see what squall would look like rendered like that.
