I had this back in the day, got it around 98 I think. I think my mom paid around 30 for it off Action Ace. I regret not taking care of it. Mine is a bit beat up and alot of the figures are missing.

Oh wow that is a fair price xD I WISH I could find one for $30 now haha. A friend of mine bought hers for $60 recently with missing figures and it was beat up, so they're really only worth a fortune if they're in minty-mint condition. xD You still could have gotten money for it (or kept it for yourself) haha.

I can't remember the exact price, but I believe it was around 30. I can't imagine my mother paying more than that. 60 dollars? Woo! I think I had some of the figures, but the beads on the front broke off. If I ever get it back I should consider putting it on Ebay. >:

There are ways to open boxes without making it look like they are open. I heard you can take a blow dryer to the tape on the bottom sometimes to loose up the sticky. >_>

I've never tried it before so I guess we will see. ^o^ I have very few toys that I got unopened. Most of them are PGSM items and I still haven't opened a few. All of my wands and lockets are in the box except my Crisis Compact and all those boxes were opened by previous owners. Most of them are in much less than perfect condition
Generally speaking I will open toys because the wands and lockets really only have their full value to me when you can hear and see what they do. However, I've become a strict in-box, preferably unopened collector when it comes to dolls. I think they look nicer on display in the box and they seem to retain their value better.

I too have been less of a de-boxer as of late. I don't take out any dolls or anything, and the only RPG toy I have not in a box is sealed, so it's my only dilemma xD (My Star Locket. What do you think, should I open it??).
I agree if you can't hear or see the music or lights, it seems kind of pointless to have the toy at all. But we are collectors...@_@ It's confusing sometimes!
And I think a lot of people have bits and pieces that are less than perfect

IDK, if I had an unopened orgel I'd probably keep it unopened because I've already had a chance to play with one. But if I'd never played with one, it would be pretty tempting to open. It seems with a lot of the high end toys, opening them doesn't really decrease the value that much as long as everything is still in great condition. But I know some collectors are very particular about unopened MIB stuff. It certainly is a rarity to find an item that is so old totally untouched. ^_^

Hrm. It is a huge temptation. But I'm not looking to re-sell any time soon, so perhaps by the time I ever am ready to sell, the price would have risen to where it would be equal to a MIB price now? O_o Maybe, or maybe it will go down??

I feel if I open it, I will incur the wrath of a non-deboxer. I feel like it's a piece that would be more suited in the hands of one of those collectors. But I don't want to get rid of it. Does that make sense? Lol

It does! Here's an idea: hang onto it closed for a while and see if a reasonably priced open one comes along. Then you can buy the open one (even if it's a bit more pricey) and sell the MIB one to a collector who really must have it that way

Haha~ xD I'm glad it's sort of working lol. Mine surprisingly works on Meijer-brand batteries (a connvenience store in my area, I'm not sure if you know of it). Do you think you need new batteries or something??

It works on the off or on the on if I use the crystal change wand to activate it. My batteries are fine they are CVS brand lol... I've tried like 3 different new (or charged) sets and all give the same results so I think part of it was maybe from shipping/lying down so long maybe? idk...
