Description
An agent of SWORD, Monica Rambeau went on a mission in space to investigate an energy rift between Earth and its moon. She discovered the rift to be caused by an ancient alien relic, the Quantum Bands. Upon wearing the Quantum Bands, Monica was transported across space to a battlefield between the Kree and the Skrulls. Finding that she could manipulate and generate cosmic energy, Monica decided to put an end to the war as the cosmic avenger, Captain Marvel.
