So, June. It's Pride Month. I've recently realised that I am a woman attracted to other women, with a possible slight interest in men too. The first time I felt attraction was towards another woman in my theatre group, and that changed my whole life. This is my first Pride Month as a greysexual (possibly bi) lesbian, so I decided to draw something Pride related that also used a franchise dear to my heart - Bubble Guppies. The Guppies would totally celebrate Pride, and I won't be convinced otherwise.

I drew them as teenagers because that's usually the time you start figuring out this kind of stuff. And I'm totally drawing them as teenagers again because it was a lot of fun. The flags are just there to look pretty. The bows are actually depicting what 'label' each Guppies has. Molly and Gil are allies, Deema is bi, Goby is pan, Oona is intersex, Nonny is demi, and Zooli is les. I made them teenagers and put them in shirts to make sure I don't get any comments accusing me of... bad things involving children. Even though they're just holding up flags, but you gotta be careful about this sort of stuff.

And if I end up getting accusations like that anyway... come at me. I'm in a good enough position to take crap like that, and I'm ready to laugh at it. Because I'm sure someone will get mad at this picture of mermaids holding FLAGS.
