'Beam me up, Goby! ... What do you mean, Captain Kirk never actually said that?!' Here's that Bubble Guppies x Star Trek: TOS crossover that no one asked for. Except for me, apparently. The first of my Trek/Guppies crossovers, and certainly the worst since I initially drew this without the intention of actually doing anything with it. So far, I've done four.

Welcome aboard the U.S.S Cousteau, with your bold (and very over-dramatic) captain: Captain Deema! Her wild and emotional approach is balanced out by her half-Vanjan first officer Nonny, who's serious, stoic, and very smart. They both regularly end up in sick bay, much to the annoyance of Doctor Molly. Goby, the chief engineer, keeps the ship running and purring like a beauty. Gil drives the whole ship on his own, while newbie Oona serves as an effective navigator (who loves insisting that Japan invented everything). Zooli's purpose is often underestimated, but a communications officer saves your behind more than you'd think.

Also, Nonny looks adorable as a Vulcan. 'Vanjan' is derived from a fish's name.
