That's very calming, I like your pink sunset/starry night transition. I find it very interesting how her eye draws my attention in the picture.

Almost convinced me to finally try using shading myself, since the effect can be so good.
Especially the eye. Is this just contrast between light and dark, or is there any other trick that makes it so glossy (sorry for noob question)?

Its just the contrast with a liberal use of Soft Round Airbrush white for the shine effect. And don't worry about newb questions lol, I'm still a digital art novice myself, we all have to learn techniques from somewhere.
