Twilight Sparkle in colored pencil. Day 7 of the Daily Pony Project. felt my last pic of her, being early in the DPP and without a reference at that point, was disappointing and did not do such a great character justice.Twilight Sparkle is owned by the hasbro corporation, who cant seem to make a decent plushie of her to save their lives >.>

all about practice honestly. if you go back through my Daily Ponies, you can see ive gotten a lot better in only 7 days. and use reference pictures to start out, really helps you get used to the proportions. thats how i did it at least.

maybe, but i feel like that would overpower the color some.

i dont know for sure cause i havent tried it, but it just seems to me that outlining it too darkly would put too much emphasis on the outline itself, thus detracting from the color and shading.

then you go over in purple and the magic in yellow
