The Kailzie Gardens didn't just have forests and greenhouses...they also had two resident free-range peacocks
This one happened to be trying to sleep under a bench right behind where I took the Kailzie Hills shot. Think I got a little too close to him for comfort
Which brings me to my favorite thing about this pic - didn't need the zoom at all. We were literally two feet apart. Reason #427 to visit Kailzie Gardens next time you're in the Scottish borders
