Description “You don’t disable THIS type of armour.
you don’t just offline it like arkaedian shields.
It doesn’t f-sync, or de-phase.
It doesn’t give a shit about being spiked.
Long after EM Fog and F-sync’ed particles reduced it’s operational sub routines spluttering static,
Lor’s floating, molten corps will still provide defensive cover to it’s fleet.”

Reminds me of the gills of a manta ray.

Would be hilarious if the ship had some kind of way to deploy the armor like an airbag, a huge ballooning mass that extends out to many times its size to give much larger cover to whatever is behind it.

Then the ship broadcasts a huge raspberry over radio to everyone listening.

I LOVE this image.

Wow, is that correct? A width of 3210 meters? If it's 3 km wide, it must be at least 15 km long. This thing is enormous, and even more amazing that it's crewed by so few people. I suppose I'll need to look into the universe this comes from to get some background.

3210m refers to the longest dimension (in this case width) - It does have a larger brother however

Ohhh, I had it oriented incorrectly in my mind. I thought it was long and slender, with the "gills" pointed backward. Either way, it's still quite enormous. And the big brother, would that be the Asgard? I do find a lot of these ships fascinating. Particularly interesting is the unusual crew make-up of these ships.

Very nice ship, a little feel of homeworld looking at it's design, interesting purpose, I remeber the halo books using construction docks for a similar purpose, a shield for the other ships.

that's a beautiful ship, something you don't often get with, well, what i call 'mech' style ships. your

Heh, mechs are a massive inspiration for me, however you'll find that each manufacturer has there own style, some are golden, others are more industrial, whilst some will seem gangly. Also, the ship size might have something to do with it, for instance, I guess the fighters are likely to be more Mech like, than for instance, this 3km wide wall of iron and silicon!

Thanks for the comment and fav!

Excellent design. I think what would make a sick image would be to have this along with something smaller, so the viewer could get an idea of just how incredibly huge this actually is.
