Looks like someone's been playing a little too much Mynock Wright: Galactic Attorney.It's the continuation no one was asking for!
Well, okay, maybe I made that up.
This was pretty much the first or third worst quest I'd ever been on in any game ever. I finally just kinda left it half-finished because I couldn't figure out any way to make it end well. Oh well, not my problem, I've got a galaxy to save!
Carth isn't in this one! SHOCK AND HORROR Actually, this was my actual party when I actually did this quest in the actual game. We're going for accuracy here, people (took us long enough)! Plus Jolee is awesome and deserves to be drawn more often.
I love the expression on the middle Selkath's face in the third panel.
Also Revan looks adorable in that last panel there--wait, cute Revan?! DFLKSDFJLSDFKJSALDKUNPOSSIBLE

I usually get the affair confirmed, and use it to paint the Imps as offing her since her information source was lost.
Works really well after getting persuade and having that datapad from the sith base to show them, from the missing selkath quest ^_^

I think just about any ingame trial sucks. I like how in ME2, they just make the trial simple if you have high enough persuasive ability (I don't even know how high it needs to be)
The other trail on Manaan is just an excuse to repeatedly cook you.

I managed to get it right the first time... it was pretty funny. I had no idea what I did, and I had to go back and read the strategy guide to see what I did.

Hehe...yeah, something similar happened to me, the first time I went through the trial I got him 50 years in prison, but I was like "Wait, no! That's not supposed to happen! Now his wife is sad! I'm not doing a good job of being a Jedi! *cry*"
So when I restarted, I actually went back and got all of the evidence and then realized that 50 years in prison was actually the best possible outcome from my viewpoint (he doesn't die, but at the same time you're not letting him get away scot-free for something you KNOW he did)...and of course when I TRIED to get that outcome, I never could.

The Sunry murder trial...problem is, he's not innocent, so convincing the judges that he is gets you Dark Side Points. Frankly I'd be happy to just have him end up in prison.
