Well, I know some of you were curious about what was under the hood (pun intended) of the black-cloaked figure in this picture: [link]Here's your answer to that.
Without giving away too many spoilers to those of you here who are participating in my current SW RPG campaign, yes, she's a Yuuzhan Vong.
You can see why she wears the cloak.
Full-body shot is her in her crabshell armor with her amphistaff (that orange-ish thing around her waist in the aforementioned picture).

Ah ha! Yuuzhan Vong! That is awesome. (When is this campaign set?) I like the Zabrak-ish spikes around her forehead. She looks...happy.

The campaign is set in 0BBY (before the events of A New Hope), but she's got a reason for being in the Star Wars galaxy this early (involving a wormhole).
And yeah, she's a very peaceful, spiritual person--sort of what the Vong would have been like if they hadn't had their philosophies hideously skewed into a religion emphasizing self-inflicted punishment and all that lovely stuff.

I really need to write something about the post-NJO Yuuzhan Vong if no one gets around to making anything canon...although the one problem is I haven't kept up with the Legacy comics, in which I think they appear.

Hehe, yeah...I'm pretty sure they do appear in Legacy, not because I've read any of the comics yet, but because there was a lot of information about them and characters whom I assume appear in Legacy in my Legacy-era campaign guide, which I bought solely so I could play a Vong character. (Have I fulfilled my daily "saying the word 'Legacy'" quota yet?)
And I wanted to play a Vong character because I think they're an absolutely marvelous species when they're not going on a galactic killing spree, and I wanted to explore the facet of their culture that's more post-NJO-ish with their whole nicey-nice, "Life is awesome, let's get along with the galaxy" type ideologies.
So basically a Vong who completely goes against everything everybody usually likes the Vong for.
Except the people in my campaign have a vague enough understanding of the Vong for that to be okay.
