Description Another burst of inspiration, and another quick piece. These inspirational 'bursts' are happening more and more, and I'm certainly not complaining about that!

The 'critic in question is of course none other than Roger Ebert, and the quote is from 'the notebooks of Lazarus Long', as written by the American Master of Science fiction, Robert Heinlein.

I have not read Heinlein for a while, but I doubt he ever met Roger Ebert. Unless you take, "...he hates all creative people equally," to mean he loves all creative people. Only Roger would never be so simplistic as to love a person because he loved their work. But he surely loved and encouraged creativity, treating film as both entertainment and art form, and not just as a product to be sold to a mass market.
