Good point, in Unreal i was one, then games changed and im just a running fool now...on COD i was killed everytime with my college buddies as i sucked with the two joystick, i liked mouse...used it for years...but hey in a game where you can unload aclipin a person and they servie and poke you once with a knife and you die i think thats lame...

i have to agree with u on that COD has it points where the game is unrealistic. and i'm use to the controller my friend is very good on the mouse. for me the way i c it the mouse can be hard because u have to move ur whole arm. thats my opinion for pc games no offense or anything.

None taken the same as its my option, my freind was a PC gmaer and said it took him awhile to get the hang of it. But i didnt play for long and my girl friend was a wesiel at the game, gernaider with a knife so to say, the guns just didnt work how i thought they would....deseert eagle should be one shot down on ground it took almost a whole clip at point blank to even kill them once.
Not the games fault tho it the lazy programmers not working it right or testing it with the right group of people.

Desert Eagle is the most powerful hand gun out thier its a 50 cal!!!
But yeah i agree as thier for such hard core gamers us old school or part time gamers get left behind alot.
I'm suprised i can beat someof them...like Alice for one. What happen to good old fun like pinball?

yeh we do. and remebr that pinball game omg that was an amazing game i played. well time will keep going and they gaming industry have to advance if they want to keep up with the future (makes sense :/). bt yeah videogames will never be the same as old videogames. look at skyrim, compare to dragon quest, dragon warrior, final fantasy 1 & 2.

True, but man i love the classics.
Gameing keeps trying to out do the last but usally fail till the last one just has fun. Brutal Legend has got to be one of the best i've played, its a fusion of a classic master and modern game play.
I agree with most now as games are short and not really rewarding in single player like they use to be, thier WAY over priced for normal working stiffs as well. I watched a freind get a new game beat it that day and then sigh as it was to short had no replay to it and all was online play with pay for the downloads that wasnt worth the $60 he paid. What happen to single player?
Then agian im not really a gamer like i use to be. Im lucky if i can play for a hour or more. But old school games still get me in to them for hours on end.
More playabilty and less show would be nice, What FF13 was so lame you had to have auto battle on and watch a movie basicly, how boreing, Games have a face engine cool, but only in the cut scenes...lame, Man i sound like i hate it, i just wish they spent more time on a good game with a good story and tested them well.

Yep old roms are good, BTW got any good places for them that are clean and full versions?
Ever play Mario RPG? its a blast, and Skyrim is a great one from what i hear of freinds that have it. Also if you like games like Diablo i've been playing Titan Quest for about 6 years now and i havent gotten bored with it.
And yes its all about the biz it seems now and no show or replay fun....plus the games and consoles are freakin expensive. Tho i do have to say when Mario All-Stars came out it was very affordable if you could find it.
-Sigh- games or art....i choosse art more now from what more limited time.

Like the story...and the Tee bagging is the strangest thing that people do online...They need a life unless its a jike with friends.
Yeah the shot was a random one that works well, i do have to amit since im not a Halo player like most (1st level beat of the 1st game) i didnt know how the Spartian Lazer was to be held. Works but not the right placment i now know. And no retake as i sold 'Shark Face'.
But thanks for the comments on the picture, i really like the points you make!

Yeah i have a collection of the Toy Biz Marvel Universe from 2000ish up till it changed to Hasbro. And some older from when i was a kid in the late 80s and early 90s.
As for the Art stuff, you dont have to go all out. A normal pencil (2H) and blank drawing paper does just fine to start. I know schools are differnt thier then the ones here in the USA, Belive it or not i didnt do art in highschool, i did technical theatre where i made sets and props so it was art still but not like what i do now. Always drew and painted a little but never was any good. Then well i was working on a musical in Las Vegas around 2005 or so i had started drawing to kill time and started getting better with help from fellow workers who were artists. Then i started doing studies of people and artists i liked (Art i liked i reproduced it by hand as close as i could and studies were from photos). A good base for any artist is being able to draw, you dont have to be real good but at least know the base and how it works. Painting then can be done with YOUR OWN drawing, not a copy or pre done image. Inking is a good way to improve on your drawings as well, I love inks myself, Watercolors are not for everyone but i like them alot.
If you go to buy materials i have a few things to say. You dont have to get the best or the cheapest, get what you feel might be the best for you. I slowly collected art supplies when i worked, Paperpads, painting stuff, and so one. Stores have sells and thier are online supply stores that are good one deals. For a starter i would say check out a nice set of pencils (4h-6B at least on hardnest) and a blue pencil if you get good at it so you can do roughs and then lay pencil on top(Non-Photoblue is good for scanning doesnt show up, Animation trick). Brand is up to your budget, Faber-Castells are my dream set, i have only one and i adore it. As for paints check Soho thier cheap and carried by Jerry's Art Arama which also has how to videos(English as far as i know), just place the name in google and find the art supply store. Sohos are a cheap and easy way to see what you like, thier good paints too(Oils and Acylics), for watercolors i started with small tubes of Grumbacher but thier are better ones out thier for a better price. Materials are a hard go as thier so many shiny ones.
Well its a long message so i'll stop thier sorry for the ramble.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't mind the long text, as it was important information.
I really want to expand my work to other mediums. I have some painting stuff home already, I have done some painting before and I think I'm going to get back to it for a start.

Cool, glad i could help.
Remeber draw and draw offen.
Sketchbooks are importiant, Some artist best work are in them (and i mean Sketches in the sketchbook).
Any art questions please ask im willing to help or direct you in a path to the info.
Thier alot of how tos online but it all comes down to your time drawing and so on.
try many styles to lossen you up, i started out wanting to draw tight and now im drawing losse for paintings as i finish the details once i paint now, if i ink then details are loose as well, but a finished pencil drawing is detail and shadeing. All can be photo real if you want even watercolors. But as the Art books say art is a way to show other how you see the world, photos already show us the world.
Well have fun and hope to see your work up here on DA.

Yep, no problem.
Just remeber drawing and the basics of desgin will help you in any art you do.
Desgin can be the layout, compasion, and rules of 3rds and so on.
Drawing gives you perspetive, shadeing for dpeth, line quity meaning think and think lines or line weights, and the control of your subject.
Have fun and work hard on your game and drawing/painting...but not to hard!
