Very nice indeed! Love how it passes straight through being a C60-style truncated icosahedron on its way to being a regular icosidodecahedron.

Those of us who are on mobile appreciate the GIF format, and I think the grain adds character to the pic. Cool animation.

Thanks for the feedback!
You are right about the mobile and the flash, I forgot about it. The main problem with gifs is that they are huge files so the download is longer. On the other hand, the above animation (few megabytes) compressed as a mp4 movie, is only 160 Kb!! But there are no mp4 players that do work on every browser, and as far as I know, it is pretty difficult to submit movie files to DA...
Oh, I do hope that in the near future these things will be solved.

Something to keep in mind is the fact that requires deviants to register for movie submission. For the rest of us, SWF and GIF are our only options.

As far as solutions go, HTML5 has a real chance to become the first truly universal animation format. It's just too new for browsers to have standardized it yet. I'd suggest it to in a year or so.

Awesome!!! This is fantastic...would love to see more! If you prefer to use flash than gifs you can use: www.anvsoft.com/flash-slidesho…
I don't think it is free anymore but there might be something similar out there.

Thank you for the appreciation and for the tip about flash. I do not have great experience with flash; well, since you told me about it, I might try. I just keep procrastinating about it, but until now.
