Does anyone of you still remember me? If you do, I'm really honoured!I know I have been inactive for a long time... because of school. And I will still be inactive in the future, most likely. I hardly have time to draw. In fact, I have to go to school tomorrow after a long holiday (of schoolwork) already.
But! I can't not draw! so here is the only one of my most 'completed' artwork in a loooong time.. it's drawn based on my friend's oc. It's kind of a speed painting and there are a lot of flaws, but still, I hope you like it, and comments are much appreciated!

LOL my Chinese name and English name aren't related at all as well. Sometimes I envy those who have related names (like Joey, and their Chinese names would be 'jo yi' etc.)...it makes the names so easy to remember!!

Most Chinese names translated from English don't sound very nice though in my opinion, and lack a meaning, so I don't really mind if they are related xD

I guess coz I have a Chinese name that's hard to pronounce so I really long for one that could be pronounced easily...it definitely contains that 'Rei' but it's written in a way that only 2/10 people can pronounce it properly LOL.

ok...so the 玲 is actually 泠 in my Chinese name... it's not 冷 but somehow everyone's pronouncing it as 冷

Yea that's why I couldn't be bothered to throw the 泠 in when I first introduced myself at tieba..I figured that the pronunciation (in Canto, at least) is just the same so why put myself through the pain LOL.

OH MY GOSH! I'm so excited to see an update from you! I love the purple and red together! What a great color scheme. The composition is done very well. It's really striking! The design and shading on the kimono are beautiful and I love the silver hair. The only critiques that I have are that the earing and ear look a bit strange and it looks like there needs to be more room for her legs underneath her. But other than that, this is honestly gorgeous. I love that reflection and those color truly do set a mood. Keep up the wonderful work!

I agree with your critiques, especially the legs part. it was done real quick so i didn't pay much attention to the anatomy. others pointed out that the head was a bit too big as well.
