"There, above the clouds, lies a tower that reaches for the stars, It is a sacred place that your mother once visited long ago. A while before she died, she hid something she thought would be necessary for you once the day came."

"This is the place, so I've heard, where they put my mother's ashes the day after she died...
My mother knew that her end would come one day. What is it that she could've left for me? I know it cannot be a weapon of any sort.
I remember her words:
'I wish for you to never end up like me. A killer. One who takes others lives, good or bad, is nothing more than so. Never soil your hands like me, for it corrupts the mind.'
So what could he have hidden? What does she want me to have, that I need? Is there something there in the heavens for me? Or does her soul have something to say? I've never been so confused before, but I must go. It is her will..."

Alright, before you ask, the character was not my focus for the work, it was the BG xD I painted the WHOLE BG using sai and just added a few lighting effects using photoshop. The Bg took about 20 minutes, and this is a pretty quick picture, so I'm not complaining. One of my weak points is good scenery, so I decided to practice a but more. Does it look good? C:

BTW, this is the main character from my upcoming webcomic/manga. I haven't named him yet (or the manga), but I have quite a bit of the story worked out.
The quote up there is kinda a "mini spoiler" (but probably not cuz I might end up changing it in the comic like always...)
This is the same character from the "Random bishie" I drew from iscribble.
The comic is gonna be story based (not mainly action, there will be some though) and IT WILL HAVE SHOUNEN AI/SHOUJO AI. Just cuz I've never done it before (lol well not just that, but shfakjajfaf) >_< You'll see why it has that sometime.
