I Love this XD i was doing this as a sketch in japan on teh plane and then i decided to finish it since it turned out so well XD i really don't know why but it honestly reminds me of =MirrorZan XD But i don't know why!! um.. yeah XD So there's Kaya with her badass headphones which are from the plane that i stole XD They looked really cool so i took them XD and she's got a low Vneck shirt, belt, jeans with her special marking, tail and like.... metal spike things that go over her tail XDi dont' know i just thought they looked like they needed to be there XDDD <3Haven't done a traditional work for a while (either that or i want to do so many more) XD I had soooooo much fun with this and it turned out great!! looks a lot like copics in my opinion XDDD used simple dual ended brush tipd markers idk the company... TriC? idk XD But yeah Crits? XD

“All right I think this is actually a nice piece of anthro. For this particular style the anatomy isn't bad. But then i think You should focus on a more detailed 3D look. try stacing lot's of different shades together and try to make hair more relaisting by doing it by strands and with different colours. And just pick up on precision. Like lines that go where they shouldn't and little mistakes. maybe choosing a different medium could improve your work.”
“That's a very nifty way to deal with the background. I know I applied it to some of my works because I was out of ideas, and I mus say that a picture with the grey dA background looks better than one with the white one. Still, there are some elements that do make the image look unfinished. One of them is the head she's holding in her hand. Maybe it's supposed to look that way, but to a new viewer, it looks unfinished. Also, I do suggest finishing the legs, or at least putting some sort of border around the image to indicate that it's not a full body work. Again, it will just look unfinished otherwise. Best of luck with your future works!”
“I'm going to start out with one of the most important things that anyone working with re-stylization needs to know. Learn anatomy anyway. Draw from real-life. Do it until you're tired of it then do it more because it will make you a better artist. That said, there's several anatomy problems with the piece, either going from the hips, disjointed leg lines, over-broad shoulders, awkward arm positions, tiny hands, and misplacement on finger alignments. The next thing you need to look at is color decisions, though individually the colors may be interesting, combined they are actually very flat and end up rather valueless. The piece looks flatter than it would otherwise despite some work to show depth using values. On that note, push values harder. Lighter lights and darker darks. Don't be afraid of pushing the boundaries further on your values. Try taking a greyscale of your piece and seeing how the values are stacking up to see if you need to push it further.”

and the partial wolf head was because the head was really bad in the sketch and i was linearting and didn't want to finish it because it looked so bad XD;;; but i didn't want to fill it in so no one knew who it was XD;;
... why didn't i just fill it in as a silhouette? XDDD

Lol thanks a bunchles XD I didn't really know what her clothing would look like if she was an anthro so i sorta just let my imagination work form there XD I"m actually surprised that i drew the spikes on the base of the tail XD It just gives it a nice touch, but i actually originally had the idea on my other character that i kinda have in secret that no body knows about becasue i just realized i havn't posted any real art of her on da anywhere XDDDD;;;

lolol I personally think that although if you look at people's art for inspiration that's great, just don't compare yourself and say that you suck XD Everyone is awesome! And even more awesome when it's your own opinion XD <3 (although looking at other people's "suckish" art does help boost your own ego, i'm not going to lie! XDDDD)

But i have this point that i think a lot of traditional work is underrated :3 i really want to prove that its not hte materials but the artist that works them 8D These aren't any fancy brand name, simple markers but they work wonders XD <3
